Stop AAPI Hate

Our Response to Anti-Asian Hate

Founded on the values of providing outstanding services and advocacy that promote better quality of life and equal opportunities for immigrants and other communities, Chinatown Service Center firmly stands against anti-Asian hate and all kinds of racially-motivated injustices. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, LAPD reported a 371% increase in anti-Asian hate crimes from 2019-2022, highlighting a drastic rise in number of cases compared to pre-pandemic levels. In response to this disturbing surge in xenophobia, racism, and violence to AAPI communities, CSC is dedicated to combating anti-Asian hate through community outreach, preventive trainings and workshops, and offering direct services to those impacted by hate incidents.

What CSC is doing to help

Individual Counseling for Adults and Youth

  • Bystanders who are traumatized from being indirectly involved in a hate incident

Our behavioral health clinics are located in Chinatown, Alhambra, and Monterey Park in the Los Angeles county. If you would like to receive mental health services at CSC (available in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese), please contact us at (213) 808-1720 to schedule an appointment, or click here for more information.
