Mr. Henry Kwong is managing director of two funeral homes in Alhambra and Arcadia.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Taiwan, his family immigrated to Los Angeles in 1963, where he attended Belmont High School.  After graduation from UCLA with a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Henry worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for 10 years, where he was in charge of railroad bridges in the Western United States.  He then went on to start his own business ventures, which included a construction company, real estate brokerage firm, and a jewelry store.

Henry's community involvement includes serving as a deacon for more than 30 years in the English Congregation of the Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles; former principal of the San Marino Chinese School and former vice president of the San Marino Club. He is also the former president of Chien Kuo High School Alumni Association, Soo Yuen Fraternal Association of Southern California, and past vice president of the advisors of Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Los Angeles. 

Henry is married to Margaret, who is a home maker and part-time family and marriage counselor and has been associated with Chinatown Service Center for over 10 years.  They have two daughters and one grandson.
